Registration Instructions for Current Students

Go to http://my.gannon.edu, select the GUXpress tab, click the login button then click; "Access Student Menu"

You must meet with your advisor to discuss your academic progress, determine what classes you need to take, and pick up your registration form. You are encouraged to use the Academic Evaluation to see what courses are needed for your academic program. Advisors will use GUXpress to enter approval for you to register on GUXpress.

For GUXpress registration: Go to :http://my.gannon.edu, select the GUXpress tab, click the login button then click; "Access Student Menu" and then click "Register for Classes".

Credits earned are used to determine the time you can begin registering.

You can check your registration time on GUXpress. Click “Registration Information”. The time you can start registering on GUXpress is also printed on the registration form next to the word ‘Web.’ The time you can start to come to the Registrar’s Office to register is printed after the word ‘Office’ on your registration form. You can register on GUXpress the day before registrations will be processed in the Registrar’s Office.

Use GUXpress to ‘Search for Classes’ and choose "Preferred Sections" before your registration time.

You cannot register on GUXpress for courses requiring written permission. This includes courses that require instructor permission or if you have written permission to register for a closed course. Register for all other courses on the web then bring the written permission to the Registrar’s Office after your start time to register in the office.

If you want to register for more than 18 credits, ask your Dean to sign your registration form and indicate the number of credits you have been approved to take. Register for up to 18 credits on the web and then bring the signed approval to the Registrar’s Office to add the additional courses.

Students who choose not to registrar on GUXpress can come to the Registrar’s Office to register the day after GUXpress registration. You should fill out that form with your choice of courses, include alternates at the bottom, and have the form signed by your advisor. The Registrar’s Office cannot process registrations without the advisor’s signature on the registration form.
