A full-time Graphic Designer is available for internal and external publications. Pre-planning of all requests is mandatory. The system is primarily PC based and Adobe Creative Suite 3 (CS3) is the primary software program utilized. In addition we have PageMaker, CS2 and Microsoft Publisher software for use in the Press. Text may be received as Word documents, or via e-mail (raw copy, no formatting, no tabs or indents necessary) and copy will be formatted. Appointments must be made with the director and designer well in advance of printing to discuss major customized projects.

Design Lead Time

No Jobs will be started until a completed work order form is received in the press.

Normal lead time to be allowed to design area is 1 week. Our designer will have most jobs designed and output in this time frame. Only extensive jobs will take longer.

Digital Originals

When you provide us with digital originals the quality of copies you receive will be much higher, because they will not be second or third generation copies, but the same generation as originals. You can send your files via e-mail saving time and the effort of delivery to our shop. We can also accept files via CD ROM or compact flash drive.
