Vice President for Enrollment
Gannon University seeks an
experienced and innovative enrollment professional for the newly-defined
position of Vice President for Enrollment to provide leadership in developing
long- and short-range enrollment plans, with a focus on increasing enrollment
over the next five years. This position reports directly to the President and
oversees a staff of 48 in the areas of undergraduate and graduate admissions
(domestic and international), financial aid and the registrar’s office. The
Vice President for Enrollment will be expected to continue the development of a
comprehensive and integrated enrollment strategy for the University, in
collaboration with others across campus, and will play a key role in
institutional marketing efforts to broaden Gannon’s visibility.

Founded in 1925, Gannon University is a private, Catholic Diocesan,
comprehensive university dedicated to excellence in teaching, learning,
scholarship, research, service and holistic education. The University enrolls
approximately 4,200 students (2,900 undergraduate and 1,300 graduate) and offers
associate, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees. The University’s
enrollment has increased 25 percent over the last eight years. Gannon is
located in Erie, Pennsylvania, a safe, friendly, urban environment with a low
cost of living, an international airport and one of the busiest ports on the
Great Lakes. The University is ranked nationally and is highly-regarded in the
region. Erie is Pennsylvania’s fourth largest city and is within a two-hour

Qualifications:
In evaluating candidates for this position, Gannon is interested in creative,
strategic thinkers who can build and sustain an effective enrollment management
program that emphasizes continued enrollment growth and an increasing focus on
international and graduate student recruitment. A sophisticated understanding
of financial aid leveraging, pricing, predictive modeling and recruitment
technology is essential. Candidates should have exceptional communication and
analytical skills, strong leadership and management skills, and the ability to
deploy resources to enroll a qualified and diverse student population. An
advanced degree and substantial experience are preferred. Other qualifications
