GANNON INTRODUCES ON-SITE ADMISSIONS FOR PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS

Gannon University’s Office of Admissions has instituted a new initiative that will allow students in Erie County to know immediately if they have been accepted.

The initiative, named On-Site Admissions, will allow prospective students to participate in individual, 30-minute interviews with admissions representatives.

During the interviews, representatives will review with students their academic credentials and application materials and offer a decision on admission “on the spot.” The interviews also are designed to give students a better overview of the enrollment process.

“This is an excellent opportunity for Gannon University to have personal interaction with a candidate for admission,” said Christopher W. Tremblay, director of admissions.

Interested students should submit an application to their guidance counselor or apply on-line at least two weeks prior to their scheduled appointment. On the day of the appointment, students should bring their application, transcripts, and SAT or ACT test scores.

To be eligible to participate, students should have at least a 2.8 GPA and a 1000 SAT score (critical reading + math). Applications can be requested by calling the Gannon Office of Admissions at 814-871-7240 or e-mailing admissions@gannon.edu. Applications can be downloaded from www.gannon.edu
