  • Three cheers: the Office of Admissions reports that applications for full-time day freshmen are coming in at a record-setting pace. As of the end of March, 2,284 applications had been submitted to admissions. That total already exceeds the final number of applications received during each of the last four years (a total of 2,075 for academic year 2003-04; 2,227 for 2002-03; 2,188 for 2001-02; and 1,951 for 2000-01). In addition, the current number of deposits (as of March 31) was also running considerably ahead of deposits for the end of March from each of the last four years. Spring Open House is Sunday, April 10.

  • From April 10-16, Nash Library will observe National Library Week. The library will have an informational display on the history of libraries, as well as fun books to read. • Graduate Research Conference: The goal of the conference is to provide a forum in which graduate students present and share their research experience with the Gannon community. The Conference will be held April 22 in the Waldron Center. Copies of the abstract submission guidelines and eligibility requirements are available by calling Michelle Homan at ext. 5691.
