KNIGHT WITH SCHOLARS PROGRAM TO BE HELD THIS WEEKEND

Gannon will welcome nearly 100 high school seniors who have been accepted to campus for the Knight with Scholars program, scheduled for February 15-16.

This invitation-only event is for students who have been awarded an academic or leadership scholarship. Students will participate in a mock lecture given by a Gannon faculty member. In addition, they will have opportunities to learn about various university services and resources by attending mini-conference sessions, which range from the Honors Program to on-campus leadership experiences.

“Knight with Scholars gives these accepted students a chance to further connect with members of the Gannon community by having an overnight experience,” said Christopher Tremblay, director of admissions.

Students will be hosted for this overnight visit program by a current Gannon student.  Some of the social activities include comedy by Eric O’Shea and a movie sponsored by Gannon’s Activities Programming Board.

The program concludes with a Presidential and Faculty Luncheon.
