The PMA Insurance Group administers Gannon's workers' compensation benefits for Fiscal Year 2010.  An updated listing of the Designated Panel of Physicians is now posted on campus and may be accessed by following this link: Designated Panel of Physicians

EMPLOYEE:

If you suffer a work-related injury, please follow this procedure:

  • Notify your supervisor immediately.
  • Seek medical treatment with one of the health care providers listed on the designated panel of physicians.  (Please note that the Gannon Health Center should not be used as a treatment facility for work-related injuries.)
  • File a claim report with the Human Resources Department as soon as possible.

If faced with an extreme medical emergency, you may secure immediate assistance from a hospital, physician, or other health care provider of your choice.  Subsequent treatment during the first 90 days from the date of this first visit, however, must be obtained from a physician or other health care provider listed on Gannon’s Designated Panel of Physicians.

  • Contact the Human Resources Department (in person or by phone) to report the injury and complete the appropriate paperwork.  Human Resources will file the claim and contact you with a claim number which applies to all medical care and billing pertaining to your injury.
