shakeXperience: GANNON

theatre camp for high school students
july 13-18, 2009

William Shakespeare was one cool guy. Think about it. He hasn’t been around for hundreds of years, but we still read his poems and perform his plays. Some of the biggest movies of all time are based on his works, and he’s regarded worldwide as one of the best playwrights ever.

Pretty cool, huh?

what is shakeXperience: GANNON?

It’s an overnight camp for high school students who want to do something fun (and maybe a little challenging) this summer. Think of it as a college preview.

Take classes on theatre, learn how to understand and perform Shakespeare, get your hands dirty behind the scenes, and work together on the shakeXperience Showcase, a performance for family and friends at the end of the week.

who leads shakeXperience: GANNON?

shakeXperience: GANNON is a program of the Department of Theatre, Communication and Fine Arts at Gannon University.  It’s a chance to learn from the people
who know!

Gannon faculty and staff and expert guest instructors lead the camp with a ‘learn by doing’ philosophy.
