
The Radiologic Sciences Program offers an Associate of Science Degree that completes all the eligibility requirements for the entry-level ARRT national certification exam. The curriculum includes a blend of liberal studies and professional courses with an emphasis on structured competency-based clinical education. Students are assigned to multiple clinical education centers for diverse learning experiences.
Radiographers provide patient services using sophisticated imaging equipment and must be able to exercise independent judgment in the performance of medical imaging procedures by adapting technical parameters to the condition of the patient. This requires a solid academic background and a commitment to the standards of the profession. The radiographer should cultivate personal attributes of compassion, team work, the ability to communicate with diverse people, and the ability to perform under pressure.
