Biography:
Donna Skelly has been involved with the Gannon Physical Therapy Program since it’s inception, assisting with applicant interviews and labs while working full-time as a clinician in an out-patient orthopedic clinic. She joined the faculty full-time in 2001, teaching primarily in orthopedics, healthcare issues, and applied anatomy courses, and assisting with research and independent studies. She attained board certification as a specialist in orthopedic physical therapy in 1996 and continues to practice in the orthopedic setting at several out-patient facilities. Though her clinical background is primarily out-patient she has experience in the acute care and rehabilitation settings, and has been a clinical instructor for six physical therapy education programs. She is currently enrolled in the Ph.D. Program in Physical Therapy at Nova Southeastern University.
