Voice and Optical Recognition Software

Recent advances in software have presented unique and advantageous opportunities for learning disability accommodations.

First, the Kurzweil machines and software have undergone extensive modification and updating, making for a user-friendly, naturally sounding program that can be installed on a personal computer. PSLD has an operating copy of this revolutionary program, together with a dedicated optical scanner, and it is available to PSLD students.
