Information: Dr. Gillespie has been a faculty member in Gannon's PA program since 1998. Prior to this appointment she served as an Instructor/Clinical Coordinator with the program from 1988-1992.

As a Physician Assistant, Dr. Gillespie has been clinically active in women’s health, pediatrics, family practice, and emergency medicine. Dr. Gillespie continues to practice as a Physician Assistant part-time in a primary care setting and emergency medicine in addition to her faculty appointment.

Dr. Gillespie has advised students in numerous research projects, published journal articles in Advance for Physician Assistants, written chapters for Physician Assistant texts, presented at state Physician Assistant conferences, and she maintains an active role in the Physician Assistant profession at both the national and state level.
