Biography:
Anita graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a BS in Occupational Therapy and from Gannon University with a masters in Counseling Psychology.
Her professional career has included many facets of adult physical rehabilitation. Anita was responsible for establishing a Work Hardening Program at Meadville Medical Center, Franklin Regional Medical Center, and Northwest Physical Therapy as well as working with out patient rehab. She also worked for Northstar Health Services Inc. as Regional Manager/Long Term Care Coordinator, responsible for all staffing and program development of rehab services in geriatric rehabilitation and administration for LTC facilities across three states.
Anita is the advisor for the program's Student Occupational Therapy Association (SOTA). She is a past member of the Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy Licensure Board; a member of the Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy Association (POTA) and the Society for the Study of Occupations (SSO — USA). She is also a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA). Currently she is an Instructor at Gannon University in the Occupational Therapy program.
