While our faculty and traditional coursework provide an excellent foundation for your education, there is no substitute for hands-on learning. That's why we make sure our internship program is an integral part of your curriculum.

Participating in an undergraduate internship program through the English Department or Gannon's Center for Experiential Education offers many advantages:

• Employers throughout the Erie area and beyond willingly give our students a semester of work experience.
   
• You earn course credit and, in some cases, money.
   
• You have the opportunity to gain perspective on a specific career field.
   
• Real-world experience will open employment doors. In fact, internships often translate into jobs.
