Our department is accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
Our primary focus is on undergraduate education, where we provide students with a blend of engineering, mathematics, and science fundamentals, the utilization of modern computer methods, practical hands on experience through laboratory and design projects, communication of ideas and results, and a value centered education.
Our graduates are positioned throughout the country in engineering positions, leadership roles, and academic institutions. In addition, our graduate masters program provides students with the latest technological ideas and methods in both mechanical and thermal/fluid systems for advanced education in mechanical engineering. We have had great success in placing students in industry, government, and academic institutions.
