To promote the learning and hands-on experience, the department maintains four labs and a cross-disciplinary lab (automatic control lab) that cover subject matters that apply to learning from the freshmen level to senior level. Each lab consists of both hardware and software systems. Following are the ECE labs, click each link for more details

Computer software for student learning and faculty scholarly work
The department maintains an extensive list of software tools for instructions and scholarly work.ECE faculty have been very active and successful in securing several software donations in the past few years.The most noticeable one is the Mentor Graphics Tools that was worth $28 million dollars donating to the ECE department in 2001. The software tools used for instructions or in the labs are reviewed every semester prior to their implementation or upgrade for the following semester.
