Gannon University's summer camp provides students with an introduction to Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer/Information Science, and Environmental Engineering.

Camp activities include experiments and projects involving measurement techniques, design, electronics, robotics, bioinformatics and computer forensics -- all enabling you to experience the engineering problem solving methodology currently employed in industry. Additional benefits of participating include:

  • Learning about career paths in engineering
  • Experiencing a university environment
  • Acquiring hands-on building experience
  • Seeing engineering in action
  • Using engineering tools
  • Creating innovative engineering projects
  • The camp takes place primarily on Gannon's campus, but will also include educational and recreational excursions to off-campus sites.

It is intended primarily for students entering their junior or senior year of high school who have an interest in pursuing a career in an engineering field. Satisfactory completion of Algebra is a prerequisite for camp registration.
