Although writing a research paper can be one of the most daunting aspects of college career, it is also one of the most useful. Mastering research techniques and clearly stating the results of investigations into a topic can add to base of knowledge and help to develop techniques used in all courses of study, as well as in the "real world."
The Research Seminars have threefold goals: Present works which are done by the members of the staff and done by the external speakers, serves as a forum for the Research Students where they can present their work to the members of the staff and their fellow students as well as receive a feedback from more experienced colleagues.
A Research Paper is an exercise in interpretation and argumentation. You may focus on an individual (scientist or not), an institution, an event, a discipline, a policy, or some other topic that seizes your interest. It presents your original research, formulating your findings as an analytical, interpretive, contribution to your chosen topic.
