Alpha Phi Sigma

Criminal justice students active participate in Alpha Phi Sigma, the National Criminal Justice Honor Society. Here are some recent accomplishments:

• An APS student won first place in the National Best Paper Competition was awarded $500.00. Gannon CJ Program won the 2006 National APS Best Website Competition.
  
  
• The GU chapter of APS won the Gannon University Outstanding Club and Leadership Award for 2007.
  
  
• APS students traveled to Seattle, WA, and Bristol, RI, to participate in annual conferences of the Academy of Justice Sciences (ACJS) and the Northeastern Association of Criminal Justice Sciences (NEACJS).
  
  
• APS Students participate in the Annual Child Identification Project (CHIP) program in conjunction with the Social Work Christmas Dinner & Wellness Fair.
