Student Jobs

Chemistry majors at Gannon are frequently offered jobs from technical companies in the Erie area. These are typically part time jobs ranging from 10 to 20 hours per week.

During the summers chemistry majors qualify for many jobs in companies that need technical workers to help cover work hours lost by employees taking vacations. Students also qualify for jobs as research assistants in large companies, large universities or government laboratories.

The chemistry department at Gannon also hires “work study” students who typically work 10 hours per week. These students help the department in preparing laboratories and general administrative support.
