At Gannon we have combined the best of two majors – the School of Business along with Sport and Exercise Science to provide you with a program that combines the practical and career-oriented world of business with your love of sport and exercise.  After graduation image yourself in the front office of a pro or semi-pro team, doing marketing for a regional soccer facility, heading the sports information office at the college or university level, managing a chain of fitness clubs or many more career opportunities related to sport and exercise.  With this major you will be a part of the School of Business and will graduate with a degree in Business, always a very marketable major. Business courses include Fundamentals of Advertising, Principles of Marketing, Legal Environment of Business and many more. You’ll also take courses that specifically prepare you for the areas of sports or exercise.  Some of these courses include Principles of Sport Management, Sport Ethics, Team Sports Organization and Management, Children and Youth in Sport and more. 

Whether you are an athlete who thrives on the rigors of sport and exercise or a spectator who enjoys the thrill of being a part of these industries, this is the major that will provide you with an exciting and rewarding career after graduation.
