  1. How do I request the application? Applications are available online.

  2. What are the admissions requirements? Criteria for admission to the Bioinformatics program includes:
    • Minimum cumulative high school grade point average of 3.0 out of 4.0.
    • Minimum SAT score of 1050 or a composite ACT score of 23.
    • Completion of four years each of math and science courses (up to pre-calculus preferred)
    • Basic computer skills.

  3. I’m thinking of transferring to Gannon University from my current school. What do I need to do?
    You should submit a Transfer Application to start the process. Check our Transfer Site for more information.

  4. Are there application deadlines?
    • Applications for undergraduate programs are processed on an on-going basis throughout the year.
    • Applicants will typically be notified of an admissions decision within 3-4 weeks once their application and transcripts have been received.
    • It is recommended that high school students apply early in their senior year.

  5. Does the bioinformatics program offer internships?
