CETL focuses on providing professional development opportunities for Gannon faculty through various workshops and seminars. Each May, the center will host a week-long training program to help eight faculty members learn how to use technology as a tool in the classroom. The faculty, from both of Gannon’s academic colleges, will focus on innovations in their classroom.

The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) has two main components: a model classroom with twelve workstations and new state-of-the-art technology, and a large, open area that facilitates discussion and the exchange of ideas regarding teaching and learning. CETL also has a small conference room, other individual work spaces, and a library.
