To underscore the new Gannon University tagline, “Believe,” a unique wordmark was developed to further illustrate the uplifting nature of the brand promise. The “ray-of-light” wordmark is also tied to the University’s historic roots as it reflects the sun and rays found in the formal Gannon University Seal. The “ray-of-light” wordmark is to be used in four-color or two-color applications only, never to be used in black and white. The two-color wordmark is only to be used in internal applications only. If you have an external two-color publication, please use the Gannon logo instead.

Gannon’s new primary logo is set in the Berkeley Oldstyle font. It can be used in the primary and secondary Pantone Matching System (PMS) colors: PMS 201 and PMS 143 and black. It can also be reversed out of black or PMS 201 in white or PMS 143. This is the preferred logo that should be used in all one- or two-color applications.

The brand mark is for internal use only. It may be used as a graphic element for banners, posters or clothing. When used, it must be used in conjunction with the Gannon University Logo or on a small space where the word Gannon is included in the copy.

The Knight has been a Gannon tradition since 1944. These Knight logos are only to be utilized by the Athletics Department or with the permission of the Executive Director of Marketing.
