Floor Hockey

1. Games will consist of 2 - 15 minute halves.

2. 5 players and a goalie make up a team. A team will be allowed to start the game with 4 players plus a goalie. No game will start or continue with less than that.

3. Substitutions are made on the fly.

4. There will be NO CHECKING.

5. Sticks are NOT allowed to be carried higher than the waist for any reason.

6. A ball stuck in the corner may be ruled dead and a face off will occur.

7. Penalties will be 2 minutes long. Teams will play short-handed on all penalties. Any player receiving 3 penalties in one game will be ejected on the third penalty.

8. Offensive players may not enter the goal crease.

9. Penalties include high-sticking, roughing, cross-checking, tripping, slashing, holding, butt ending, spearing, and any attempt to injure.

10. ANYONE RECEIVING AN ATTEMPT TO INJURE PENALTY WILL BE EJECTED FROM THE GAME AND POSSIBLY THE LEAGUE.

11.Those involved in fighting will be ejected from the game and the league. No questions asked.

12. There are no off-sides.

13. If the score is tied at the end of regulation, a 5 minute sudden death overtime will be played. If the score remains tied after sudden death, the game will result in a tie.

14. Playoff games can not end in a tie. A coin toss will determine the first team to shoot. Each team will take a series of 3 shots alternately. The team scoring the most goals wins. The same shooting order will be used if there is no winner and continue until there is a winner.

15. teams should attempt to wear the same color jersey.

16.Goggles must be worn on the court at all times.

17. Standings - 3 points for a win, 1 for a tie and 0 for a loss
