3 on 3 Basketball

The 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament will follow a double elimination format. Games will be played on 1/2 a court, first team to 21 wins (win by 2). There will be a 20 minute cap on all games.

1. A team will be made up of 4 players. 3 on the court and a sub. A team may sub after any made basket or dead ball situation.

2. Teams will call their own fouls and keep their own score. It is the responsibility of the winning team to report the result of each game  to the tournament supervisor.

3. Scoring - any basket made outside the 3 point arc will be worth 2 points, any other basket will count as 1 point.

4. All defensive rebounds must be taken out beyond the 3 point arc with the exception of a a shot which fails to touch the rim or backboard (aka an AIRBALL), in which case either team may go right up with a shot.

5. Losers outs, all possessions after a made basket and dead balls must be taken out at the top of the key and checked in.

6. Teams are limited to 1 ex-varsity basketball player or 1 coach.

7. SLAM DUNKING IS NOT ALLOWED.
