Undergraduate Admissions

Enrollment Advisor Miles Vida with studentBefore you depart for home after Open House, you may already know your admissions decision to Gannon University thanks to our On-Site Admissions program...a service for students who want an instant answer!

Between 1-4 p.m. on the day of Open House, the Office of Admissions staff will meet with students in individual appointments... reviewing applications and transcripts before making an admissions decision.

To participate, you must have at least a 970 SAT (math and critical reading) or 20 ACT score and 2.5 GPA. Students must bring with them a completed application as well as their high school transcripts and SAT/ACT scores in a sealed envelope. Students may opt to have their Guidance Counselors send in their transcripts and SAT/ACT scores prior to Open House.

Students who participate will receive one of two decisions:

  1. Admissions to Gannon University
  2. Hold status awaiting final decision by Admissions representative

On-Site Admissions is located at the Office of Admissions at 162 West 6th Street, and is done on a first-come, first-serve basis. Students will meet with an Admissions Representative in the order that they arrive, with each appointment lasting approximately 20 minutes.

If you have any questions or would like further information on this exciting opportunity, please contact the Office of Admissions at 1-800-GANNON-U.
