Education Day

Gannon University is hosting Education Day on Monday, March 15th giving you and your parents the opportunity to visit Gannon and get a firsthand look at everything our programs in Education have to offer. Your day will be spent participating in classes and workshops designed specifi cally for future preschool through high school teachers.

 

Through a series of informative talks, presentations and discussions, you will gain an understanding of Gannon’s practicum and portfolio experiences. More importantly, you will have the opportunity to talk with both faculty and current students about our School of Education.

 

Admissions representatives will also be on hand to show you around campus and answer any questions about enrollment or financial aid.

Find the pulse for your future. Gannon University is hosting Health Professions Days on March 19th and April 23rd giving you and your parents the opportunity to visit Gannon and get a firsthand look at what our programs in the Health Professions have to offer.

 

Your morning will be spent touring the Robert H. Morosky Academic Center where you can explore the only comprehensive Patient Simulation Center in the region. Our 5,800 square-foot, state-of-the-art facility simulates the “real life” expectations in today’s hospitals.

 

You will also have the opportunity to meet with current students and Dr. Carolynn Masters, Dean of the Morosky College of Health Professions and Sciences.

 

Following lunch with faculty in your program area, admissions representatives will be on hand to show you around campus and answer any questions about enrollment or financial aid.

Gannon University is hosting a Day with the College of Engineering and Business on Friday, March 26th giving you and your parents the opportunity to visit Gannon and get a first-hand look at everything our programs in Engineering and Business have to offer.

 

Registration will begin at 8:30 am with the welcome beginning promptly at 9:00 am. Following the welcome you will be given the opportunity to break into interactive sessions involving your fi eld of interest (10 majors in the school of Business and 8 majors in Engineering and Computer Science).

 

Students will also be given the opportunity to interact with faculty members and current students during the day. Admissions representatives will be on hand to show you around campus and answer any questions about enrollment or financial aid.

Following the welcome you will be given the opportunity to learn what career options are available for you in any of Gannon’s 20-plus degree programs in Humanities, Education and the Social Sciences. Students will also be given the opportunity to interact with faculty members and current students during an interactive tour of the College of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences’ hotspots; Gannon’s Radio Station and The Schuster Theatre are just a few stops along the way.

Registration will begin at 10:45 a.m. with the welcome beginning promptly at 11:00 a.m.

 

Your morning will be spent touring the newly renovated Zurn Science Center and Gannon’s lab facilities such as student research labs, and labs for ecology, physiology, physics, analytical chemistry and biochemistry.

 

You will also have the opportunity to meet with current students and Dr. Carolynn Masters, Dean of the Morosky College of Health Professions and Sciences. Following lunch with faculty in your program area, admissions representatives will be on hand to show you around campus and to answer any questions about enrollment or financial aid.
