Engineering Day
Gannon University is hosting Engineering Day, Friday, October 7th giving you and your parents the opportunity to visit Gannon and get a first-hand look at what our programs in Engineering and Computer Science have to offer. The day will begin with registration at 9:30 a.m. followed by a welcome from the Dean of the College of Engineering and Business. Your morning will be spent learning about career opportunities in Engineering and Computer Science as well as participating in interactive laboratory experiences that will give you insight into the topic of electronic circuits, strength of materials, communication systems and alternative energy.
Following lunch with faculty in your program area, you will have the opportunity to tour many of our lab facilities such as materials testing, power electronics, bioinformatics, environmental science and computer networking. More importantly, you will have the opportunity to talk with both faculty and current students about our programs in Engineering and Computer Science. Admissions representatives will also be on hand to show you around campus and to answer any questions about enrollment or financial aid.
So whether you have chosen your career path or are undecided and just looking to gain information about careers in Engineering and Computer Science…our Engineering Day is for you.

9:30 am Registration in the Lobby of the Waldron Campus Center
10:00 am Welcome given by Dr. Melanie Hatch, Dean
10:30 am Participate in the first of two interactive lab experiences
11:15 am Participate in the second of two interactive lab experiences
12:00 pm Lunch in Gannon’s Cafeteria with faculty and current students
1:00 pm Admissions and Financial Aid Presentation
2:00 pm Campus Tour
