A group of students get to know each other at OrientationGet ready for Gannon!
In order to help you get ready for college life, our Summer Orientation program will give you a chance to check out everything ahead of time.

Gannon University will hold four summer orientation sessions for new freshmen and their parents. Each two-day session provides participants with an excellent opportunity to experience what it is like to become part of the Gannon community and to gain firsthand knowledge of college life.

What to Expect
At orientation you will connect with fellow classmates and returning students who serve as orientation leaders; learn about the policies, procedures, services and resources of the university; meet with faculty and administrators; finalize your fall schedule; and take care of any unfinished business. The summer orientation program will provide you with plenty of individual attention and the answers to any questions you may have about starting your Gannon experience.

More Information
All freshmen are required to attend summer orientation to ensure the proper start of college life at Gannon. You can choose one of four sessions that are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Summer Orientation dates for students enrolling in Fall 2010 are:

  • June 20 – 21
  • June 27 – 28
  • July 11 – 12
  • July 18 – 19

A booklet with more detailed information including reservation materials is sent to accepted freshmen beginning late March.
