What advice would you give to current or prospective students?
Set your sites high and NETWORK! Get out there and talk to people who do the things you think you may want to do after graduation. Use alumni contacts to make connections and gather advice. This is one of the single biggest things you can do to start building your career even before entering the work force.
Why did you choose to attend Gannon University?
Gannon offered an affordable education in a smaller setting for a more intimate experience.
What was the highlight of your Gannon University experience?
Working at the radio station was, by far, the highlight of my time at Gannon. WERG allowed me to take the concepts I was learning in the classroom and apply them to something very tangible. I tried new things, experimented with shows and formats and nurtured my creativity in ways that are virtually impossible once you enter the working world. I was able to develop my creative and leadership skills while I was there and, at the same time, build friendships that have endured ever since.
