The Schuster Program for the Arts was developed in 1997 with an endowment from the late William M. and Frances Schuster, patrons of the arts. Through their generous donation, several new initiatives were begun, including: the
Schuster Patron of the Arts and Schuster Memorial Music Scholarships, the Schuster Re-Grant Initiative, and the Schuster Fund. In addition, programming monies were added to the Studio Art Class Program and “Arts Outings."
