Gannon Unveils New Online Student Magazine
Edge will be produced by Gannon students and will focus on prospective students
Monday, Oct. 5 -- Gannon University today is launching a new student-produced online magazine called Edge.

The magazine, available at http://edge.gannon.edu/, is a cutting-edge, informational medium about Gannon University and life on campus designed primarily for prospective students and their families as well as current Gannon students. Edge also represents a continuation of the University’s efforts to expand and strengthen its social networking and media presence.

Edge is written from the perspective of Gannon students, who will focus on everything the University has to offer. The site will include original copy, photos, videos, and interactive content.

“The goal is to provide visitors to the site a comprehensive view of the campus community through the eyes of Gannon students,” said Zach Flock, the University’s coordinator of e-marketing. “We’re very excited about the launch of the site and are confident that Edge will be popular with prospective students because the content will be provided by their peers.”

Edge will cover academics, faith in action, and Gannon Knight athletics, among other areas. It also will include regular blog postings by Gannon University students and question-and-answer sessions with Gannon administrators on financial aid and other topics of interest.

The student contributors to the site welcome and encourage feedback. For more information, call 814-871-5741 or send e-mail to edge@gannon.edu.
