Preview GU Aug. 23-25
Activities help new students become acclimated to campus life and to college in general
Gannon University will welcome its new students to campus for the fall 2009 semester with a series of activities.
The activities, known as Preview GU, will begin Sunday, Aug. 23 when the students begin checking into their residence halls: Wehrle Hall, 211 West 6th; Finegan Hall, 120 West 5th; and Crispo Apartments, 309 Sassafras St. Student check-in for all three buildings will be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Preview GU activities will continue Monday, Aug. 24, and Tuesday, Aug. 25.
Gannon University’s fall semester classes for all students begin Wednesday.

• Student check-in, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wehrle, Finegan, Crispo.
• Welcome Mass, 2:15 p.m., Mary, Seat of Wisdom Chapel, 520 Peach St.
• New Student Convocation, 3:30 p.m., Hammermill Center, Peach Street and South Park Row.
• Dinner, 5:30-7:30 p.m., Beyer Hall Cafeteria, 628 Peach St.
Monday:
• Breakfast, 7:15-10 a.m., Beyer Hall Cafeteria.
• New Student Orientation, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., room 219, Waldron Campus Center, 124 West 7th.
