Undergraduate Admissions

Gannon University’s Board of Trustees recently approved four new members.

Approved for three-year terms were: Dana M. Fallon of Arlington, Va.; Dr. James A. Scozzie of Painesville, Ohio; Dr. Susan M. Nedza of Hinsdale, Ill.; and Christopher B. Snyder of Erie.

• Dana M. Fallon graduated from Gannon in 1991 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and in 1993 earned a master’s degree in higher education administration from Kent State University. In 1999, she earned a juris doctor degree from George Mason. She is the assistant director of Alumni Services at the George Mason University School of Law and is serving as president of Gannon University’s National Alumni Association.

• Dr. James A. Scozzie graduated from Gannon in 1965 with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, earned a master’s degree from Case Western Reserve University in 1968, and a doctoral degree from Case Western University in 1970. He recently retired after serving as senior vice president of BioEnterprise Corporation in Cleveland, a nonprofit that supports the city’s bioscience companies and tracks investments in that industry sector. He is a past president of Gannon University’s National Alumni Association.

• Dr. Susan M. Nedza graduated from Gannon in 1980 with a bachelor’s degree in biology and earned an MD from Loyola Stritch School of Medicine in 1984 and an MBA from Northwestern University in 2000. She is vice president of clinical quality and patient safety at the American Medical Association and is an adjunct associate professor at the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University.

• Christopher B. Snyder graduated from Gannon in 1981 with a bachelor’s degree in communication arts and earned a master’s degree from the University of Santa Monica. He is co-founder and CEO of Spectrum Direct. In 2001, he and a partner founded AmericanLifeDirect.com, which offered life insurance over the internet. They later spun off several similar companies, including Spectrum Direct.
