Hoop Stars Returning to Court
Stoczynski and Knight to play at Hammermill Center Saturday
Erie basketball fans will soon be able to see semi-professional basketball players face off against some hometown favorites.
The game will take place Aug. 1 at 8 p.m. in Gannon University’s Hammermill Center. Doors open at 7 p.m. and tickets can be purchased there or at Dee’s Cigar Store, Sundance Records or Shop Rite. Adult tickets are $10 and children’s tickets are $5.
The game will pit the New York City Streetball Legends against local basketball players including former Gannon Knights Tyler Stoczynski, Corey Knight, and Matt Jones. There will also be a dunk contest at halftime.
The New York City Streetball Legends have played at Rucker Park and have been featured on The Magic Hour, MTV’s Who’s Got Game?, and ESPN’s And1 Mixtape Tour.
