Gannon University’s Dahlkemper School of Business Administration on Friday, June 26 will host an informational event for high school juniors and seniors interested in majoring in business or a related field.

The event, Gannon’s Business Day, will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Stubler and Pietraszek rooms of the University’s Waldron Campus Center, 124 West 7th St. The event is free, and parents are welcome to attend.

Business Day will focus on topics such as career opportunities in business, what students can expect should they pursue an education in business, and the types of programs and opportunities offered by Gannon’s Dahlkemper School.

Attendees also will be able to get answers to questions like:

• What kind of job/career do I want?

• What will the job market be like after I graduate?

• What type of salary range can I expect?

• Will the college or university I attend provide me with internship opportunities and help me make connections with professionals working in the field?

Attendees also will be able to meet with graduates of the Dahlkemper School of Business as well as current students, faculty members, and representatives from financial aid. Interactive workshops and campus tours also will be offered.

Programs offered by Gannon’s Dahlkemper School of Business Administration include accounting, advertising communications, business administration, entrepreneurship, finance, international business, management, marketing, risk management/insurance, sports management/marketing, and a five-year MBA program.
