There are three summer sessions in which courses are offered at reduced tuition rates.
| Session A-May 12 | Session B-May 27 | Session C-June 30 |
Current students are encouraged to register on Gannon's website at my.gannon.edu after advisor's approval is entered. Select 'Current Students' then 'Registration'.
For undergraduate students, their course load is no more than two courses (generally 6 credits) for each session.
Students who fail to drop a course, will receive a failure grade (F) for the course. Students dropping a course before the last date to withdrawal will receive an (X) withdrawal grade. Contact the Registrar's Office for withdrawal dates.
Tuition bills are due BEFORE the first day of the summer session for which the student is registered.
Note: Even if there is no balance due, it is imperative that the bill be signed to indicate attendance and returned to the Cashier's Office by the due date.
A $40.00 fee will be assessed for bills paid on or after the first day of the session for which the student is registered.
If you register during the week prior to the start date of a session, payment must be submitted along with your registration. If receiving Company Reimbursement, the required down payment, Company Reimbursement form and Tuition Bill must be received TOGETHER by the due date to avoid a late fee.
Nash Library is available to students during the summer months. Check with the library information desk at 814-871-7557 for hours.
Housing is available for students enrolled in summer courses until the end of their lease, July 25. If a student is enrolled in a course that has a published date that exceeds the lease date of July 25, they can move to a Residence Hall. For approval to do so, students must submit a letter to the Student Living Office with proof that they are enrolled in a class that exceeds the lease date. No student, for any reason, will be allowed to stay in on campus housing units beyond August 15 at 6:00 p.m. This is necessary to allow sufficient time for the cleaning and maintenance of housing units prior to the start of the fall semester. Questions may be directed to the Office of Student Living at 871-7564.
Doc's Landing located in the Waldron Center will be open during the Summer Session Monday thru Friday 7:15 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Students who wish to transfer credits to another institution may do so by contacting the Registrar's Office at 814-871-7611 or by calling 1-800-GANNON-U. The student's authorization and written signature are needed to release a transcript.
