A sound theoretical base in physical, social, and nursing sciences is needed to fulfill this highly specialized role. The anesthesia program is offered in cooperation with Hamot Medical Center School of Anesthesia and requires 28 months of full time study. The program of study is designed to provide the professional nurse student with an in-depth concentration in clinical anesthesia.
