Gannon University Names Director of International Admissions

Gannon University announced the appointment of Sarah Heminger as
director of international admissions.
In this position, Heminger will lead both recruitment and
admissions activities for graduate and undergraduate students who
are not citizens or permanent residents of the United States.
International students represent about 10 percent of Gannon
University's total enrollment.
Heminger comes to Gannon from Springfield (Mass.) College where
she had been assistant director of the college's Doggett
International Center since 2010. In that position, she was the lead
staff member for implementing the college's international
enrollment strategy, and also engaged in international student and
scholar support and study abroad program development and
At the Center for International Studies in Northampton, Mass.,
where she held the position of director of program administration
and development from 2006 to 2010, Heminger led the admissions team
and spearheaded the development of all new programs.
Heminger is a graduate of the School for International Training
in Brattleboro, Vt., where she received a Master of Arts degree in
international education. Heminger also holds a Bachelor of Arts
degree in French from Ball State University, Muncie, Ind., and
studied at the University of Rennes 2, a French university in Upper
