Gannon University's National Alumni
Board reached a milestone this year with unanimous support for the
University for the fourth consecutive year. Jim Ahearn, a 1961
alumnus and former Gannon Golden Knight basketball star now serves
as a member of the Alumni board, said, "Reaching 100-percent board
giving is a shining example to all other alumni."
The board comprises 16 members from Pennsylvania, Georgia,
Illinois, New Jersey, New York and Ohio who work to promote alumni
success; foster personal and professional networking; to
communicate Gannon news, events and priorities to the alumni body;
to engage with the University, current and prospective students and
to support the traditions and growth of Gannon University.
Gannon University alumni can be found in all 50 states, the
District of Columbia and four U.S. territories, and in 56 nations
around the world.
