Gannon University T.R.A.V.E.L.ers To Receive Big Send-Off

While the commencement ceremony held Saturday may signal the end of the school year, for 51 Gannon University students and 10 members of faculty or staff, an unforgettable learning experience is just beginning.

On Monday morning, they will depart the Gannon University campus on the first leg of a journey that will take five different groups on five trips to Australia, New Zealand, Italy and Germany through the University's Transforming Residents Abroad Via Engaged Learning (T.R.A.V.E.L.) program that this year will have sent 106 students and 21 faculty and staff members to 12 countries on 10 separate trips.

The send-off will be a festive occasion, and travelers will be available for interviews.
