Gannon Plants Pinwheels for Child Abuse Awareness

Posted: April 6, 2015

Gannon University, in partnership with the Erie County Child Abuse Task Force, is asking the local community to join its students, faculty and staff in planting a pinwheel garden in honor of National Child Abuse Awareness Month.

The pinwheels symbolize the importance of increasing the awareness of and continuing to promote the prevention of child abuse.

Gannon University's pinwheel garden will be planted on April 8 at 12:00 p.m. at the Morosky College of Health Professions and Sciences fountain at 150 W. 10th St.

Please join us as we, as a community, take a stand against child abuse and pledge our commitment to helping children in the Erie community stay safe, healthy, and happy.
