Gannon University President Keith Taylor, Ph.D., will recognize
graduates at the University's Winter Commencement ceremony, to be
held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14 at Gannon University's Hammermill
Gannon will award 186 degrees, which includes six students
earning doctoral degrees, 101 earning master's degrees, 79 earning
bachelor's degrees and six earning associate's degrees. Students
from eight nations will be earning degrees on Sunday, as will the
first graduating class of Gannon University's Doctor of Nursing
This year's keynote speaker is Margaret A. (Meg) VanderLaan,
'89, a member of the Gannon University Board of Trustees and the
chief communications officer of MWH Global, an engineering firm
headquartered in Broomfield, Colo. VanderLaan will be awarded a
Doctor of Humane Letters degree, honoris causa at the ceremony.
