Morgan, Philip Named to New Positions at Gannon University

Gannon University is pleased to announced the appointment of Kara Morgan as associate registrar and Bridget Philip as director of graduate admissions.

In her new position, Morgan will oversee scheduling for first-year students as well as maintaining and updating the new student data. She will have extensive responsibility for scheduling classes the registration process and the organization and coordination of the undergraduate university catalog.

Morgan joined Gannon's graduate admissions department in 2002 as a graduate recruiter and enrollment advisor and then was promoted to assistant director of graduate admissions. For the past four years she has served as director.

As director of graduate admissions, Philip will oversee the professional and support staff of the graduate admissions office. She will develop and implement marketing and recruitment plans to achieve the enrollment goals of the University's 20 graduate degree and seven certificate programs, as well as nurturing relationships with external entities to find new recruitment sources.

Philip was assistant director of graduate admissions, where she recruited students through travel to fairs, corporate and public recruiting events. She also evaluated graduate applications and maintained communication with program directors. She previously served as assistant director of undergraduate admissions, conferencing manager at the Waldron Campus Center and education coordinator at the Center for Adult Learning.
