The infamous "Pizza Bomber" case is gaining recognition once again, this time being highlighted on the show "Snapped," which appears on the Oxygen Channel.
The episode will air Sunday at 9 p.m. Jerry Clark, Ph.D., assistant professor in the criminal justice program at Gannon University and former FBI special agent who worked on the case, will appear on the show.
According to the channel's website, "Snapped" is a crime series based on true events of female killers and their victims. The show explores what drives these women and why.
The title comes from the notion that female killers share one thing in common: at some point, they all snapped, according to Oxygen's website. Currently, the show is in its seventh season.
Clark said that it's extremely rewarding when people all across the country become familiar with the incident because of the high intensity involved, as well as how much work went into the case.
"I'm very excited when a national audience gets to review the work that the investigation team did," Clark said. "It's beneficial because it was a team effort."
Clark said many people were involved in this case and that having National attention brought to it is "very gratifying."
