The publication was selected as the co-winner in the partnership’s Annual Report Contest and received a $1,250 prize. Gannon University shared the top award with the Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania in the “large organization” category.

In its judging, The Nonprofit Partnership considered how effectively the submissions conveyed their organizations’ mission, accomplishments and relationships with stakeholders. In addition, publications were evaluated on their narrative and use of graphics and photos.

The theme of Gannon’s Annual Report of the President was “A World of Possibilities.” The publication told the University’s story through a number of alumni, faculty, staff and students.

“From the senior history major who spent a year studying abroad in France to the faculty religious who incorporates Catholic social teaching into her nursing courses, the individuals featured in the publication represent some of Gannon’s best and brightest,” said Audrey Starr, publications officer/editor. “I’m really proud of the fact that the Annual Report helps us convey to our key constituents the many great things Gannon is doing and how its community members are living its mission.”
