I am a semi-native of Erie. For my first 15 years, I lived in Florida and then moved up here going into my sophomore year in high school. I have been in Erie/Waterford ever since. I graduated with my Bachelor's degree from Gannon in 2003. During my Junior year, I began to work at UPMC Hamot (a local level 2 trauma center) performing x-rays and CT scans, where I stayed for 17 years. While working, I completed my Master's degree from Gannon in 2018. At that point, I began teaching at Gannon University.
My husband works for a local renovation company and has several small businesses he owns. I have a daughter who is a Senior in High School. I enjoy reading and spending time with my daughter in her various activities. She is a Girl Scout, where she earned her Bronze & Silver awards, she is in multiple genres of dance, including the performance team, is in the National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, and Class Council, and has worked throughout the past five years. I am also heavily involved with my community, our church, and multiple other organizations.
My favorite place regionally is my own backyard. We live on the southern edge of Waterford on 11 acres and we have a beautiful view of sunsets every day. This year I have also added chickens and ducks to our household. Overseas, I have visited various cities in Italy and would love to go back again.
