MC Gensheimer started her career, in 9th grade, with a soldering gun, a can of orange spray paint, and a camera.
Her photographic and graphic work has been accepted regionally for publication and gallery exhibits. This past spring, she completed the poster and graphics design work for the Erie Opera Theatre's production of Donizetti's Elixir of Love. Recently, she returned from a workshop at the Smithsonian in Washington, DC which explored the "behind the scenes" work of artists and craftsmen in the set up of exhibits in the galleries. She currently serves as a member of the new GannonKnight sculpture group. And she is working on compiling the history of the Gannon Knight tradition. The 2012-2013 year is her 30th year at Gannon University. She lives in Erie, with her husband, two cats- Digit and Gracie and a dog named Cali.
