MC Gensheimer started her career, in 9th grade, with a soldering gun, plaster of paris, yarn, a can of orange spray paint, and a camera.

Her photographic, sculptural, and graphic work has been accepted regionally for publication and gallery exhibits. She has worked closely with the Erie Chamber Orchestra, creating cartoon characters for the educational outreach to all local grade schools. Characters were used in a complete music lesson plan packet distributed within the Erie County regional schools. A plan for this semester includes designing a Gannon Coloring Book, with students in Digital Drawing class.

Last year, a 3D printer showed up in her office. Many hours were spent learning to print 3-dimensional art using Photoshop, Autocad, and 123D. The small sculpture of the Gannon Arch is a favorite.

She currently serves as a member of the Gannon Wayfinding committee. This group works on Signage, Graphics and Art placement on Gannon's campus.  She is one of the sheherds for the University's painting collection- 15th and 16th century oil paintings.

She lives in Erie surrounded by art, with her husband, a cat-Gracie and a dog named "America's President Cool" AKA Callie.

Her WIX portfolio for graphics is:
