Technology Integration Program-Nursing Education and Practice (TIP-NEP) Duke University School of Nursing. August 1-4, 2010. Presentation of Enhancing Patient Safety: Use of Patient Simulation to Promote Effective Communication and Interdisciplinary Learning. Recipient of $3,000 stipend for use in advancement of technology in nursing education. Served as lead faculty to develop and submit this grant. Selected as one of 10 schools from across the country to attend and present at this prestigious event.
