    Admitted High School Seniors

    Admitted Student Days (Select Fridays in March and April) 

    Learn about Gannon and meet future classmates at one of our Admitted Student Days. Perfect for students who already plan to attend Gannon and can’t wait to get started – or - for students who are still considering college choice and want some more information about GU! At Gannon's Admitted Student Day you will:

    • Learn more about how advising and class registration
    • Find out summer orientation details and the housing selection process
    • Get information about financial aid and scholarships
    • Hear current GU students talk about student life
    • Attend a class in your proposed major of study
    • Enjoy lunch with faculty from your academic program of interest

    Admitted Student Saturdays (March 28 or April 11)

    Can’t make it on a weekday? Then try one of our Saturday sessions for Admitted Students. Saturday sessions provide all of the same great information just with a little tweak in the schedule of events. For a complete schedule of events, or to register, choose a date below.

    Future Knight's Night Out

    For accepted and deposited students, we invite you to enjoy a night all about Gannon, but in your home region! These evenings are designed to be fun and relaxing while allowing for students and parents to engage in conversation with other future Gannon students from your local area, current Gannon students, Gannon alumni and Gannon admissions representatives. We've chosen fun venues with great atmospheres and even better food - on Gannon's tab!

    “OverKnight” Visits

    We invite any accepted student to spend the “knight” with us! You will have the opportunity to:

    • Stay in a residence hall with a current student
    • Attend class in your proposed major of study
    • Eat in Gannon’s cafeteria
    • Meet with faculty from your program of study (advance notice required)
    • Consult with a financial aid representative (must have FAFSA on file)

    Space is limited and all overnight stays require two weeks advance notice. For a schedule of events, or to register, choose a date below.

    Spring Preview Day (April 18)

    Want to get a taste of college life before your senior year? Thinking about transferring to Gannon? Wondering what your next step is after college graduation? Eager to get back to finishing that degree after time away? Gannon University Spring Preview Day is designed just for you! This spring session will help you discover what makes Gannon unique and provide helpful tips and hints as you begin this important next step in your education.

    Spring Preview Day Highlights:

    • Explore all of Gannon’s new buildings on a campus tour
    • Enjoy lunch in Gannon’s Beyer Hall Cafeteria
    • Learn valuable tips about the college search process
    • Discover what makes a Gannon education a high quality yet affordable choice
    • Meet current Gannon students
    • Talk with faculty and learn more about your anticipated major of study

    Spring College Fair

    The 2nd Annual Spring College Fair, sponsored by Gannon University will be held from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 in the Hammermill Center on Gannon’s campus.

    The fair is free and open to the public.

    Around 70 colleges and universities will be on hand to distribute materials and talk with students and other interested members of the community about post-secondary education.

    Flip Flop Fridays (July and August 2015)

    Erie is a hub of activity in the summer and Gannon is right in the center of the action! Flip Flop Fridays are opportunities to Gannon and get a first-hand look at our academic programs; newly renovated buildings and so much more…all while enjoying a beautiful summer weekend in Erie! Whether you have already jumped into the college search process or are just beginning to get your feet wet, our summer Flip Flop Friday programs are for you! Registration will open in May 2015.

    Academic Program Days (Fall 2015)

    Gannon offers academic program days during the fall semester which are structured to give you a first-hand look at each of our academic colleges individually and to explore more in depth the programs that each college offers. Specific academic program days will be held for the College of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences; the College of Engineering and Business; and for the Morosky College of Health Professions and Sciences. Registration for these events will open in September 2015.

    Open House (Fall 2015)

    Gannon’s annual Open House is a day of activity that provides you the opportunity to engage with faculty, enjoy academic presentations, tour campus, participate in scholarship contests and more! So whether you are a high school student, transfer student or adult learner; this day is for you! Registration will open in September 2015.
