    Admitted High School Seniors

    Knight with Scholars (February 14 – 15, 2016)

    Want to get a taste of Gannon life before you begin your freshmen year here? Still trying to decide if GU is the right fit for you?  Either way, Gannon University’s Knight with Scholars Program is designed to fit your needs! This invitation-only event is an opportunity for students like you to stay “overknight” with current Gannon students and to find out what it’s really like to eat, sleep, study and even play at GU!! 

    Knight with Scholars Highlights:

    • Meet your potential future classmates
    • Stay in one of our freshmen residence halls with a current student
    • Enjoy evening activities such as Glow Yoga, Indoor Putt Putt, Trivia Night or a Just Dance Competition…and more!! 
    • Attend a class in your proposed major of study
    • Participate in a hands-on learning experience
    • Enjoy lunch hosted by University President, Dr. Keith Taylor
    • Talk with faculty and see first-hand the enthusiasm for their academic programs

    Admitted Student Days (Select Fridays in March and April)

    Have you already made up your mind to attend Gannon and can’t wait to get started? Or are you still considering your college choice and need more information before you make up your mind?  Either way, you can learn about Gannon and meet future classmates at one of our Admitted Student Days.   At Gannon's Admitted Student Day you will:

    • Learn more about how advising and class registration work at Gannon
    • Find out about summer orientation and the housing selection process
    • Get details about financial aid and scholarships
    • Hear current GU students talk about student life
    • Attend a class in your proposed major of study
    • Enjoy lunch with faculty and see first-hand the enthusiasm for their academic programs

    Admitted Student Saturdays (April 2 or April 9)

    Can’t make it on a weekday?  Then try one of our Saturday sessions for Admitted Students.  These Saturday sessions provide all of the same great information just with a little tweak in the schedule of events.  Register for a date below:

    “OverKnight” Visits

    We invite any accepted student to spend the “knight” with us!! You will have the opportunity to:

    • Stay in a residence hall with a current student
    • Attend class in your proposed major of study
    • Eat in Gannon’s cafeteria
    • Meet with faculty from your program of study (advance notice required)
    • Consult with a financial aid representative (must have FAFSA on file)
    • …and more!!!

    Space is limited and all overnight stays require two weeks advance notice. Check back soon for a complete schedule of events or to register for a date below.

    Future Knight's Night Out

    For accepted and deposited students, we invite you to enjoy a night all about Gannon, but in your home region! These evenings are designed to be fun and relaxing while allowing for students and parents to engage in conversations with other future Gannon students from your local area, current Gannon students, Gannon alumni and Gannon admissions representatives. We've chosen fun venues with great atmospheres and even better food - on Gannon's tab! Please select the appropriate city and date below to register for the event.

    High School Juniors, Transfer Students, Adult Learners Spring Preview Day (April 23)

    Want to get a taste of college life before your senior year? Thinking about transferring to another University from where you are currently?  Eager to get back to finishing that degree after time away? Curious about where to begin? Gannon University Spring Preview Day is designed just for you! This spring session will help you discover what makes Gannon unique and provide helpful tips and hints as you begin this important next step in your education. 

    Spring Preview Day Highlights:

    • Explore all of Gannon’s new buildings on a campus tour
    • Enjoy lunch in Gannon’s Beyer Hall Cafeteria
    • Learn valuable tips about the college search process
    • Discover what makes a Gannon Education, not only high quality, but a great value too
    • Interact with Gannon students
    • Talk with faculty and see first-hand the enthusiasm for their academic programs

    Upcoming Events

    Academic Program Days (Fall 2016)

    Gannon offers academic program days during the fall semester which are structured to give you a first-hand look at each of our academic colleges individually and to explore more in depth the programs that each college offers.  Specific academic program days will be held for the College of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences; the College of Engineering and Business; and for the Morosky College of Health Professions and Sciences.  Registration for these events will open in September 2016.

    Open House (Fall 2016)

    Every fall Gannon opens its doors and its entire campus for a day of activity that will help you uncover your possibility at our Fall Open House.  The day provides you the opportunity to engage with faculty; enjoy academic presentations; tour campus; participate in scholarship contests; and more!!!  So whether you are a high school student; transfer student or adult learner; this day is for you!!  Registration will open in September 2016. 

  • Adult Information Session for Undergraduate and Graduate Programs

    Join us on Tuesday March 8, 2016 or Wednesday March 16, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at the Gannon University Waldron Campus Center in Erie, PA for an introduction to the many opportunities available to you at Gannon including learning more about our undergraduate and graduate degree options, the Admissions and Financial Aid process and many other resources.
